G’day, my name is Daniel Rhook.  I live in the north western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.  I am a wannabe Weekend Warrior, that doesn’t spend anywhere near enough time on my bike(s).   I would like to share with you my cycling experiences with the idea that there are people like me who just want informative descriptions and opinions on places and events to rides.

I’ve always ridden.  As a kid it was a source of fun and necessary for transport.  As an adult it is a means to keep fit and something that has become an increasing obsession.

I’m not a serious cyclist. i.e. I don’t belong to a club or race, but I do a number of cycling events and ride whenever I can, solo and socially.  Road cycling is my primary interest.  I also have a sports bike for social rides, riding trails and riding with the family.
